Miscarriage and it's after effects

I actually had a miscarriage on the 6th of March and of course my period came normally. However,I noticed that 1. For the past 6days now,I've been having foul,horrid-smelling virginal discharge that's brownish,I think its old blood(b'cos its not blood red) n 2. There are bruises, really painful sores around m virginal lips. Please help me,what could be wrong with me? N:B: I haven't taken any drugs to correct it,just Vit C

you cannot classify your period after a miscarriage until you've gone 2 full weeks without any spotting or bleeding. So unless you STOPPED bleeding March 6th, this wouldn't be classified as your period. You're probably still expelling bits and pieces of the pregnancy.
But it also sounds like you have some sort of infection, because I've had a natural m/c before and although it was painful and gross, it didn't have an odor aside from the normal 'blood/period' smell.
The infection sounds a little more extreme then pieces of tissue being stuck in there if you have sores around your vagina, that has nothing to do with the miscarriage, sounds like an STD.
Go to the Dr. Have him test you for STD's, and do an internal exam to see if there's still tissue in your cervix/uterus.
