Miscarriage stomach pain: please help

It is the seventh day after my miscarriage and the bleeding off I call you stopped today but I began having pains in my lower stomach that felt worse when I tried to poop and whenever I'd cough. Now it doesn't hurt, but I can still feel some soreness. Also it hurt very severely when I tried to poop and I couldn't complete a bowel movement until after I ate some fruit.  Is this normal?

I had a miscarriage at 16wks, and was induced to him the baby in hospital at what should have been 17wks. I had him on Friday at 2am and Saturday I took a ridiculous amount of pain meds and some Ativan to help me sleep, and Sunday I didn't take as many, Sunday night I was alright but in some pain, and Monday it felt like I was in labor again when I went to the bathroom.
I went to my Dr immediately at the hospital and she did a pelvic exam and found pieces of placenta forcing my cervix open.
So, uterus was contracting to close cervix, but there was placenta blocking it, causing pain. She tried to pull out the pieces in her office but it was too painful :( so she admitted me for a D & C right away and right when I woke up I felt 100x better.
You might have an infection if the pain is coming and going

I would a schedule a follow-up with your primary care physician they may want to take blood work and possibly do an ultrasound to make sure nothing is left behind from the miscarriage. Praying everything is okay
