Oh my goodness - I'm so sorry! I had a miscarriage on Mother's Day 6 years ago. I've never heard of anyone else having that experience on that day.  Mine was at the beginning of the second trimester and it was just a terrible, terrible experience. Truly heartbreaking. I hate to hear that anyone else has experienced it. Have you seen your doctor about it? Have you talked to your doctor about the continued passing of tissue? Are you running a fever? If you are running a fever, I would go to the ER right away. Infections can develop and create problems. Later miscarriages are less likely to complete on their own. I had a D&C so I don't know how long it might have gone on otherwise, but I know a number of people who started a miscarriage naturally but went on to have a D&C later because the tissue just wouldn't completely pass.  If you haven't spoken to your doctor already, I would definitely do that, too.  Again, I'm so very sorry for your loss, and I hope you're able to find peace and healing over these next days and weeks!
