Normal HCG level but no yolk sac

I found out I was pregnant on December 5th with my LMP being around November 5th, I had a vaginal ultrasound on 12/17/08, found a gestational sac measuring 6 weeks and 2 days.  No yolk sac or fetal pole was visable.  My HCG levels were checked on 12/17/08 also and they were 21,317.  I won't know the results of the second HCG levels until Tuesday.  Does anyone think that Im going to miscarry.  I have had to normal pregnancies before with no history of miscarriage....

I had my hcg drawn and it was alittle low I had it drawn a few days later and it went up and a few days after that. My 1st u/s my obgyn waited to do because of all the stress I have had from having repeat m/cs and when they did it all they saw was the sac. My dr does not live by the numbers. Your numbers seem hign you may have ovulated later if you were having a m/c now your numbers would be dropping. Wait until tues and then see if they can do a repeat u/s. The beginning is the hardest because the dates they initially give usually end up changing. I'm 9 wks and I found out I was pg on 11/7 so you are probably less than 6 weeks it's hard to see the baby until you are a certain point. Try to relax I know the waiting is the worst part. How are you feeling otherwise? Let me know what happens...
