Please HELP! 6wks preg..nothing in U/S..doctor gave me Cytotec?!?!

Im 6wks 5 days today. I went to the ER with some spotting 2days ago. The doctor checked me and said all was fine and that he saw a baby in the ultrasound that measured 4wks 5 days. I honestly didnt see anything in the ultrasound when he did it, but he said that he saw it! He sent me for a follow up with my obgyn which I went to yesterday. My doctor did another ultrasound and says she sees NOTHING!? Not even a sac. She then gave me cytotec to induce a miscarriage! I'm soooo scared. She says that they don't see ectopic in the ultrasounds either, but if my levels are going up as they should, then where is this baby growing??? My hcg levels have been going up normally, my cervix is closed...I had very little spotting twice in the last 6 weeks, no cramps. Has anyone ever gone through this??? Has anyone taken Cytotec?? I can't take these pills if I have the slightest bit of hope left in me. PLEASE HELP....your thoughts may help put my mind at ease & help me make the right decision.

Thanks for ur response...unfortunately things turned out really bad for me. I had a 6weeks 5 days gestation baby with a beating heart that both the ER doctor and my obgyn missed as ectopic in my right fillopian tube. I had to have emergency surgery yesterday to have both the baby and my right tube removed. Doctor's say it is a miracle I made it! Thank god I went with Gut instinct, otherwise God know what would have happened. Can't believe those doctors put my life at risk. Just wanted to update you. I appreciate u taking the time to respond to my post. God bless!

I wouldn't take them just yet. You may have ovulated later, so they may not be able to see anything just yet. Request your doctor to allow you to miscarry on your own, and ask for a follow up ultrasound in 2 weeks. That way if you aren't as far along as you thought, you should see something, our give your body the chance to miscarry naturally. good luck and God bless!
