Please help!

After going through a painful miscarriage of a baby I truly wanted; I am just wondering how quick some women have conceived right after wards? Is it possible in like three weeks? Please let me know how many of you got pregnant right away.

Sorry for your loss :(
I personally know how it feels to feel so empty and lost after a miscarriage that all you want to do is get pregnant again and fast.  But, it really is the best to at least wait one cycle so that you know your body is working properly again.  It takes at least two weeks from a d&c(if there are no complications) for the hormones from the last pregnancy to even return back to normal. There is no telling when you will ovulate after a d&c and you can cause yourself more stress and worry not knowing how far along you are if you do concieve right away.  I have talked to plenty of women that ovulate later than they think go in for a six week check up, but they are only four weeks along and docs don't see much or there numbers are low and they think they lost another pregnancy.
I had a missed miscarriage last year in June I was almost 12 weeks along, my baby stopped growing at 7 weeks.  I waited 4 months to try (doc recommended 3).  I concieved right away when trying and I am now 7 months along with a healthy baby boy. Just getting pregnant again was stressful enough and getting through those first three months.  Even though it was hard to wait I am so glad I did.  I cannot imagine having additional worry when I was so freshly devestated with my loss.  Best of luck to you please let me know if you have any questions!

I miscarried at 7 weeks back in November. I am now currently 5 weeks along. I have had 2 miscarriages so far and I'm hoping third time is the charm.

I just m/c 3 or 4 weeks ago and we are trying again right away. My Dr said it is all up to the person and how they are handling it emotionally. She also said that it is all up to How your body processes it. My m/c was at 6 weeks and was passed at home. It was just like having a period with heaving bleeding the first day and then normal bleeding after that with a little stronger cramps.

In a few more weeks we will see if we are expecting again. I gave been having some symptoms but don't want to get my hopes up yet. I think it is a personal preference.

I was also told just because you have one does not mean you are at risk fort another.

Best of luck!

Hi HeatherLF16, I would suggest to atleast wait 1 cycle if not more. We had a m/c last Dec at 11 weeks along. We waited 1 cycle to try again and I had another m/c at 5-6 weeks along. If I could go back I would have waited longer for my body to heal from my first m/c. I have heard of woman getting pregnant weeks after m/c but my doc advised this raises the m/c rate to 50% higher than normal. I would just give yourself some time to heal and you will get your baby before you know it. I wish you the best of luck on your journey of ttc.
