Please help...Missed miscarriage and afraid

I'm now 10 weeks and found out in my 8th weeks through ultrasound that there is no fetus and no heartbeat, just an empty sac. After two more ultrasounds, it was confirmed that I have a missed miscarriage (blighted ovum). The doctor only gave me two options: either have a d&c or just wait for a natural miscarriage. I am very afraid to have the d & c and put to sleep, so I opted for the natural miscarriage. It's been 4 weeks and nothing. I asked for meds to help speed up the process, but their office doesn't believe in meds for a miscarriage. I tried to find another doc, but no one would take me in this stat, until this is over and dealt with, with my current doc. I'm stuck no and am afraid to risk an infection. This would be my first miscarriage, so I'm very afraid and don't know how much longer to wait.
Does anyone know if there's a way a doc would be able to prescribe me meds for speeding up this miscarriage?
Also, after no spotting for weeks, I just started spotting very lightly a day ago, with no other symptoms. Is this a sign that I will miscarry soon? Could it stay spotting lightly like this with no other progress?
I don't know what to do. I'm tired, sad, alone and afraid. Please help.

Same thing happened to me. Please do not be afraid of the D&C, I was extremely scared and frightened of being put to sleep, but seriously it was the best decision I made. You will wonder why u were even afraid. You will read horror stories, but it's nothing like that. Your put to sleep and u wake up and it's over with. I have had this done twice and had no problems at all. I am sorry about ur miscarriage, but don't let your fears overwhelm you. You will fine, get the procedure done, there is nothing to fear. X

Pls message me if u want anymore advice. Just to add, I would be more scared of a natural miscarriage, it can be pretty painful, but with the operation, ur asleep and it's painless.

I forgot to add that the sac measured 6 weeks, so pregnancy stopped at 6 weeks.
