Ok ladies...here's what's up...this morning I poas and got a faint + sign...:D I'm not going to get my hopes up in the case that it might be an evap. line. I wanted to write this before work, but I just didn't have time! I was so excited!! Anyway, haven't told DH yet and I really just want to go to the $ store and get some more tests!! We have terrible weather coming so I have to get out soon if I'm going... I just looked at it again and the line seems darker. Just want to know what you guys think...could this be it?! Thanks all...:D
AAH! We have to wait until MONDAY!!! That's ok, I'm not testing again for a few days...

Ok everyone...I tested again tonight and still a BFN on the $ store hpt's...hopefully I'll have some better news for you all after the weekend. I won't be back until Monday, when we get everything hooked back up at the house :) Good luck to everyone in the TWW! I hope I hear some good news from you all when I get back!! :D SSBD to all!
I'll prob. test again in the morning..but we're going to have to pack up the computer tonight, until Monday :( So, maybe I'll just hold my pee and try one more time with the $ store brand. I guess it was just a licensing issue. Anyway..I will get a more expensive test on the weekend...so busy packing to move...all the last minute stuff :P I might go to the Dr. next week, I'm on vacation, but she only does same day appointments..so annoying!
Erica, I had to wait for the pink dye to TOTALLY dry to wait and see the line. I would take it and then come back 10 min. later and then it just got darker after time.

Don't get discouraged hun! If you got a faint positive on the more expensive one, then just go with that!!! A faint line is a faint line! And any line is a +++++++++++++!!
Will you test again in the morning to see if it's darker, or just try to get into your dr for bloodwork?

Erica I would give your dr a call. I would get your blood drawn but try a dig test.
Dani- Weird I never got a false neg on anything other than a cbe! Interesting but remember it could be a defective test or if you hold the hpt in your urine for second more than instructed you could cause a false reading etc. Maybe I'm just lucky I have had false neg once!

Thanks everyone :) Well, I got the faint line on a more expensive test and 2 BFN's on the $ store tests...so I'm not sure what to think. I just read that Health Canada recommends that you don't use $ store tests....I wonder why? You're right Bam, they are a dollar for a reason!! I am starting to get discouraged! Does anyone else feel like the pee moves through the test too quickly? I put 4 drops like it says, but then it just goes right through and the pink dye all goes with it....let me know what you think :)
I would go with the blue line! You could always call your dr. and tell them you want the blood work done. BEST OF LUCK
Keep testing, If a faint line showed up maybe that means that something is going on and it's just gonna take a little more time. My fingers are still crossed for you. I wish you the darkest of dark lines!!

Hey...I got an even fainter line this morning, so I am not too optimistic about this sticking this time around, but I am going to wait 3 more days and test using the digital if AF hasn't shown. It's 4 days before I expect AF today so tests may just be beginning to pick something up, but with how I've been feeling for the past week I would expect more...I hope you are just having no luck with the $ store tests and that if you test with somethig different you have better luck than me =)
Don't give up hope yet, maybe the $store tests just aren't picking up. Afterall they have to be a $ for a reason. Let us know when you get a more expensive test!!

girl i started testing on the 22nd i took about 7 test...it was still faint on all of them so i took a digital and it said YES + so just keep on taking them!
it can take 48 hours for hCG to double and get a darker line! remember all that trouble I had with the $$tree tests? even DH was sure I was getting + but then I got AF and the digi came up - as well.
Ive decided when I come of BC and start testing ill get the $$tree ones but not look so hard.

Well, I'm really upset. The $ store test I took this morning gave me a BFN :( I don't understand! The line is still on the test from yesterday morning...I'm just going to have to get some more expensive tests....gotta go, it's a mess out there today.... :(

Army princess- I had searched other forums when I was looking up the info and they were just like MH, where ladies were testing and coming back with uncertain results, which lead me to look into it more. I personally didn't have a problem with the blue dye, but other women were posting just like here and after I followed their stories, some turned out to be a false positive. I am not saying that is happening, just that there have been certain studies that prove that some tests can be more confusing to others.
Erica- does it ever seem funny that we say "only three tests" LOL! I still have a drawer full of them. Most women only take one. I just can't understand how women who are ttc can wait to test. I don't have that kind of patience. I wanted to know before we even bd'ed if I was going to get pregnant LOL! I just really hope this is it for you, and it really sounds like it is. Good luck getting sleep tonite. What time do you think you will wake up to test? I think I made it til 4am after my first faint line. Erica..remember that I didn't get any line at all on the $ store either...plus if you had a faint line this morning, later on in the day your urine would be more diluted. All you can do, like me, is test again tomorrow..or if you can hold out wait an extra day...and see what happens!
Dani- Every blue test line I have used has been a ept or generic and they have never . given me a false pos. The only one that did was a clearblue and I was pg. That is why I always follow up my testing with a dig test. I don't believe everything on google. What kind of hpt are you using? I'm glad my $ store doesn't sell them yikes I feel bad for you guys!

Take a digital test or a ept test either reg or dig. They seem to be the most accurate.
