Sex after M/C?

I had a M/C on Saturday. My doctor told me that I was on pelvic rest until the bleeding had stopped. Now the bleeding has almost stopped. I was just wondering how long other people waited before having sex again.

I had a d&c yesterday for what would have been a m/c. I was told by my OB to be on pelvic rest for 3 weeks so not to intraduce any infection into pelvis. He also did not want to take a chance for a conception since you can ovulate as early as 2 weeks after the m/c. Each Ob has different beliefs, I would call my doctor and discuss it with him.

We had sex the next day, then i had a bit of spotting againfor a couple of hours but was all ok.

We didn't have sex until a few days after the bleeding completely stopped.  Then we used protection until AF came.

I am so sorry for your loss.
I waited until the dr told me it was ok. I was also put back on the pill to regulate my cycle for the first month. Then after that we started back about CD 6 or 7 with protection since I was put back on clomid and then after the OK from the dr went back TTC on Dec 31. My mc was in Nov. My best advice is to ask your dr.
