Spotting after miscarriage & D&C

Hi All,

I had a D&C done on July 27th.  The bleeding stopped a few days after that, but I didn't expect the spotting to continue this long.  Is this normal?  It's going to be 2 weeks post D&C tomorrow.  This was actually my second D&C, but with the first one, bleeding lasted a couple of days and spotting a few days after.  I will be following up with my OB on Friday, but I'm just wondering if I'm okay?  Thanks.

AFTER MY D&C I BLEED FOR A DAY AND A HALF THEN IT STOPPED AND I SPOTTED 3 DAYS LATER BUT ONLY FOR 2 DAYS SO I THINK YOU WILL BE OKAY BECAUSE EVERYONE'S BODY REACTS DIFFERENTLY TO THIS PROCEDURE BUT IF IT'S SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY CONCERNED ABOUT PLEASE INFORM YOUR DOCTOR

My spotting lasted 2 weeks after the D&C and then that was it. I think you're still ok. Your body has to do alot of adjusting.

I had my d&c in the end of June and I have spotted almost every day.  My family doctor said it was okay and it could last 3 months while hormones regulate.  I have looked around to confirm an answer to this and can say from everything I have read, up to 3 weeks is the average time you might expect to bleed for so you are still under that.  I'm interested in hearing other experiences though.
