Two late periods, heavy discharge? Miscarriage??

For the past 8 days, I've had a heavy brown discharge, that has gotten darker. I only spotted red blood a couple of times. Today I woke w/ severe muscle aches. My Dr. cleared me of any STD's or possible infections. My last period was late, then very heavy. Now once again my current period is 2 days late. My husband and I have been trying to conceive. Could this be a miscarriage?

if u are indeed pg and miscarring, u can still take a home test and find out.  for me, i'd rather not know if i were losing a baby, but if u need to know than go get a test.
