Ultrasound showed irregular sac and no heartbeat

My LMP was 12/26 which put me at about 7 weeks when I had my 1st U/S last Wed.  The results were irregular shaped sac and only measured about 5 weeks.  I removed IUD in Nov but was sure about LMP.  Dr said maybe miscarriage or maybe off on dates.  Had bloodwork done on Wed and going back tomorrow for another blood test.  Really don't like the wairting and not knowing.  I've already broken down because tech initially said baby didn't make it.  I am really worried and don't know what to expect.  Can the sac be irregularly shaped and still have a healthy baby?

I hope everything works out and I know waiting is awful, but seems like all you do in the early stages of pregnancy.  Good luck

Anything is possible. My daughter had an irregular shaped sac and she is 3 years old and perfectly healthy so don't worry yet. It is very easy to get dates mixes up it could just be that. I hope everything turns out well.
