First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I know how devestating it can be.

My first BO, I ended up having to have a D & C and my bleeding lasted almost 2 weeks.....but I also had complications.

My second BO, no D & C was necessary and the bleeding slowed alot after 4 or 5 days and was stopped all together around 7 or 8 days.

Another woman I know who had a BO also continued to bleed for just around one week.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family....and remember.....don't be afraid to call your doctor or OB/GYN with questions, no matter how silly they may seem.  They are usually very understanding and compasionate.

i'm sorry for your loss.
I guess I don't understand what is going on here....  How can you be pregnant with twins, and then diagnosed with a blighted ovum?  A blighted ovum is when a fetal pole does not develop in the sac.  if there was no fetal pole, how do you know it was twins?
did they see 2 sacs but only one had a baby???  How is the other doing?

please explain more.  how are you doing?
