brown discharge?? a few days after period

I had a brown like discharge earlier today just spotting not much. I had a D&C last month & had my period last week. Which only lasted about 2 days & the last 2 or 3 days was just spotting. Y is the discharge brown?? Is this bad?? possible infection??

Thank you. I actually went to the hospital tonight & everything is fine. They said I have abnormal uterine bleeding which I also had while pregnant before I had a miscarriage. They did blood work, an EKG, & a pelvic exam & everything came back fine. I've been getting really dizzy & lightheaded a lot lately so I have to follow up with my doctor next week. I have an appointment next Tuesday. They want me to talk to my doc to see if they want to do anymore tests. I have Syncope which is a type of fainting, even though I don't actually faint but I have almost all the symptoms. They just want me to make sure that is the only thing wrong.

Sometimes it takes a while for our cycles to return to normal after a m/c, shorter or longer cycles, changes in color and consistancy and brown discharge which is normally old blood. I don't think you have anything to worry about, but if your concerned I would contact your Dr. Let me know how you make out......Lori

Well that was earlier this morning & now I'm spotting like around the time I'm on my period. It isn't brown but why was it earlier???
