hcg leavels

Ok so on april 1st i had my second miscarraige (miscarriage). i had low levels with both of them. (but i was low with my son too and he lived). my levels were low with the last one but we saw a heart beat before i lost it. anyways...im pregant again i didnt even get a period. my level on monday was low like 462? but to day it had more than doubled...almost tripled he said. he wants to see me in 2 weeks for an u/s. this is good right?

I'm sorry for your losses. Congrats on your pg. I too have very low rising hcg levels with all my pgs. My previous obgyn was not a numbers guy he honestly didn't care what the numbers were as long as they were rising every 48-72 hrs. However every dr is different. There are some websites you can go to that will tell you a rough estimate of what your hcg levels should be for how many wks you are but if you have slow rising numbers they may not apply to you. If your dr isn't worried you shouldn't be either. It is hard to erase the fear of having another m/c but 462 sounds good to me. I think that is a great start. Try to enjoy being pg and just take things one day at a time. I'm here if you need to talk. Congrats again and take care.

Sounds good to me if it more than doubled!  I've had 2 miscarriages before and am 10 weeks pregnant now.  My doc checked my levels twice a week for the first 9 weeks and mine were more than doubling.  Congrats!  sounds good to me!
