help

Help!  I had a d&c done on Aug.11 due to a missed miscarriage and it was followed by a normal period 5 weeks later.  Now, my second period came 3 days early and it has lasted 13 days now.  It had gone from very heavy to just spotting, but it does not seem to be going away.  We have been TTC since the normal period.  Has this happened to anyone else? I have a dr appt on Monday.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have had 2 in the past, the first about 5 years ago, had a D&C and then just got on with life. The 2nd was last Dec which was a missed m/c and I had a natural m/c but after that I did have months of problems. I didn't get my first AF for 2 months, then for a couple of months after that they were on time but REALLY heavy and then about 3 months later I had the worst pain humanly possible one night and then laster a blood clot fell out which was about the size of a golf ball.  Got referred to a gyno and they think it was a burst cyst and that my body did not get rid of all of the tissue from the PG. This could be what is happening to you.  I would maybe ask your doctor for a scan to see if there is any tissue left (not all D&C's work, my first one they totally missed it!!!). I think that's what my body needed though coz I am now 16 wks PG and going really good.  Good luck!!

I'm very sorry for what you are going through.  A m/c is bad enough, but then to have recurrent complications really *****!  I had a natural m/c, then popped back into my normal cycle, so I can't really answer your question.

I see you have a dr appt Monday - good!  13 days of bleeding just does not seem normal.
