Hi

I had a miscarriage a couple of wks ago. I started spotting on the wednesday (brown discharge, very small amount), and then the sunday I had bright red, heavier bleeding with period like cramps in my back and stomach, my legs also felt like jelly. I went to A&E, they did blood tests , urine sample and examined my stomach, sent me home as said bleeding was quite common in early pregnancy, I was already booked in for early ultra sound next day. Went for the scan and got told the baby had no heart beat, miscarried that wk!! I would suggest you go to A&E asap and get checked out jus to be sure as I think bleeding can be common but when you have pain too that is the worry. Don't mean to worry you but I would suggest seeking medical help. Hope you are ok xx

hi, I understand what you are going through. I would suggest calling your doctor right away. An u/s or blood work would be able to tell if the bleeding you are having is due to an oncoming miscarriage or if it is unrelated to the baby. I have heard of so many women who bleed during pregnancy and yet go on and have healthy babies.
However, to be on the safe side, do call you your doctor and discuss immediately. Good luck!
