Because of hormone levels taking a while to go down if you take a HPT too soon then you may get a false positive. If you want to take an HPT I would wait at least 4-6 weeks after you miscarry to take one since this is when you should have had your cycle by. If you think you may be pregnant I would have a blood test done, this is the most accurate way. I'm sorry for your loss.

I'm sure it is,  I miscarried at only a few weeks, on April 12thb, 2009, and had a regular period on May 12th.  The middle of June came and went, and when I was a week after my period was due, I took a test, not expecting anything.  But it was positive.  That means I would have conceived a few weeks after my miscarriage.  If you are not sure, take a test in another week, or so after.  Good luck!

Hi there are so many women on this forum who have conceived shortly after m/c so I would say yes its very possible i would also point out that some women have had false positives due to hcg levels taking a while to come down - I am no expert though I am new to all this x
