kapake during pregnancy

i was 13 weeks when the doctor give me kapke for pains in my hip he give me 100 tablets and told me to take 8 a day then he give me another 100tablets when i was 15 weeks i still had not been for my first scan when i went to the doctor they told me i should not have been on them and the doctor must not have knew i was pregnant and i had to go into hospital to have my baby could this be the cause of my misscarriage?thanks

thanks for  replyin x the med has 30mg of codine in it its in the same category as herion very addicitive now after the m/ci m addicted to the codine and been takin the same amount as the doctor told me to before the m/c they told me the test would take 4 weeks and the cermation who be doe after the test but nothing has come back yet i was lookin at the back of the med leaflet and it said not to take when preg or breast feedin so why where they percribed? i spoke to my solicitor and he said that we might have a case againt him even if it dont come back i the tests. for precribing them when it states on the back not to take them another doc in my clinic said i should not be on them in the first place and the doctor said he must not have known if i was pregnant load of bull if you ask me . would not wish it on my worst emeny. will keep you posted but thanks

I'm so sorry for your loss..That is terrible. I have never heard of that medicine before. But the baby is at most risk from med's you take in the first trimester...They took my baby to pathology for tests. Did they do the same? Could they tell you anything?
