First off I'm sorry for your loss. I personally think getting pregnant after a miscarriage is some closure of the miscarriage. I miscarried on 3/16 and have been actively trying every other day since. Still no period so hopefully were pregnant! Good luck and sending you baby dust!!
That is something you should talk to your doctor about. It is possible to get pregnant right after a miscarriage, but as a previous poster stated, you should at least have one normal cycle. Some doctors recommend longer (3-6 months). This depends on your individual situation (did you have a d&c or was it natural, how far you were, your hormone levels, past history of miscarriage). I know how badly you probably want to be pregnant right away. Good luck to you.
I had a miscarriage in October, and my doctor said I could start trying again whenever I was ready, however, I probably wouldn't get preggo until I had a few normal cycles. He also said that emotionally, it may be better to wait until I was healed from the loss of my miscarriage. I was like you and really wanted to get pregnant again, so after my first period, I never got back on birth control. I got pregnant in March, so it took me five months to get pregnant, and I have two children already, and have always gotten pregnant very quickly. You may have to be patient until your body gets back into a normal routine though because for the five months I was trying, my periods were very irregular, sometimes almost two weeks late! It may be a bit of a roller coaster, but good luck, it'll be worth it in the end!
Hi! You should check your HCG level in blood first and then take an ultrasound to check its all clear. As its a risk you are going to take and yes its possible to get pregnant again but Drs. say that you have to wait for at least 1 NORMAL CYCLE after miscarriage.
