miscarriage

i had a miscarriage 2 week ago, the hospital advised to try again once the bleeding had stopped, i have done ovulation tests and to start with they said i wasnt ovulatin but for the past week they all say i am ovulatin. the tests say that ovulation will be in the next 24 - 48 hours. is it right that i can be ovulatin for that long????? the hospital told me i will be more fertile but i dont understand that the tests are all showing the same for a week now???? sorry if i havent explained it well.

Most doctors recommend waiting until you have had at least one regular period before trying to conceive again after miscarriage and many recommend waiting 3 cycles.

I think they recommend this because your cycle will be wonky for a while and your hormones will be all over the place (this the odd OPK results). It also makes it more difficult to correctly date your pregnancy if you haven't had a period before conceiving again after a miscarriage.

Ovulation tests can be a little hard to read so unless you are hyper ovulating then it would only show a real positive for a day.
