miscarried in NOV 2010 and test pos in Jan 2011

Hello, I miscarried @ 16weeks (Nov 16 2010), never got my menstrual. Its been two months since my D&C and nothing. I had an appointment with my doctor (January 21,2011) and tested positive for pregnancy . Am  worried for disappointment and excited but more worried if test was wrong because i have no symptoms - I had heartburn, still no menstrual and sharp pain on my back but thats all .I DON'T have  tender breast, cravings, tiredness, nausea .
I feel like my usual self .I am taking it easy staying way from any hard labor that my affect my pregnancy if there is . Please help ease my mind with your input and thank you .

Congrats, it sounds like you are pregnant!!

Did your doctor take blood to measure your HCG levels? If they are doubling every 48 hours then you are definitely pregnant :-) Keep us posted on how you are doing!!! :-)

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I am so sorry for your previous loss, and the fear will never go away from what I have experienced, but just try and take this pregnancy one day at atime. There is always worrying involved with kids! Did you have an u/s? Heartbeat? Enjoy!!

This happened to me almost identical, 6 weeks after we miscarried i took a pregnancy test because AF wasn't coming, and low and behold i was pregnant again. A lot of women on this forum have the same story too. I went on to have my happy and healthy DS who is now 7 months old. Congratulations! happy and healthy nine months. oh and i had 0 symptoms of being pregnant either just wanted to go out drinking with some girlfriends so figured id test to be on the safe side.
