orgasm during pregnancy...harmful?

My husband and I are trying to conceive. My ovulation was the 6th of June.  I am not sure if it took or not, and I am wondering if it is safe to still have an orgasm, with or without intercourse.  I am afraid that the contractions that come along with orgasm may stop the implantation stage or interfere with something else causing miscarriage.

My fertility doc tells all his patients to "keep the uterus quiet" until 8 weeks. So no sex or orgasm; no vacuuming; no gym; etc. Nothing that works the muscles in that area. It is just a precaution he takes for anyone who is "advanced age or high risk". But if you do not know you are pregnant yet, then I do not see why you should follow his advice. Good luck.

An orgasm can actually help with everything.  The fluids that are secreted can help move the sperm along.  I don't think that God would tell us to have sex and not experience the joy of an orgasm.  It sure wouldn't be as fun to make a baby.
