ovulation after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks.  The miscarriage happened on Sept. 16, 2008 and I also had a DC done to stop the bleeding.  How long after this will I start to ovulate and possibly become pregnant?

if you got your period back already, then you ovulated.

but if you did not, it can take up to 12 weeks for your body to recover, ovulate and get your period back.  after my first d and c, it took 7 weeks for me.

I had a miscarriage and had a D&C on Sep 10th. I am pretty sure i ovulated two weeks from the day. I should be due for my first period Oct 8th. Crazy thing is I have started to get the same symptoms of morning sickness i got before i had a miscarriage. not sure if its my mind playing tricks on me though.
Good luck!

I had a miscarriage (D&C) on September 12th. My doc said that would be considered the 1rst day of a 28 day cycle, which means I would ovulate 14 days after the 12th.
So you would ovulate 14 days after the 16th, being the 30th. That is of course, if your cycle was normal and 28 days.
I recommend charting your cirvical mucus to determine when you are ovulating. I am very sorry for your loss and wishing you the best in getting prego again.

I had a miscarriage and D&C on August 6, and I didn't get my first period after until September 15.  There is not a consensus on when you should start trying again, so we waited for one cycle and are currently ttc.  I just ovulated this week, so we will see what happens.  I am sorry for your loss, and I hope this helps.
