please let me know

I just resently found out that i was pregnant and i had went to the dr because i had started bleeding and cramping they told me it was a threatened miscarriage but they did not tell me that my cirvex was closed or not and my hcg levels were at 3000 and they put me on bed rest. well the next day i went back in because the bleeding and cramping had gotten worse and they told me that my hcg levels have dropped and they did not tell me exactally how far they had dropped and that i needed to make an appointment with my ob/gyn. i guess my question is could i possibly still be pregnant i really need some emotional hope!!!!!

I am really sorry that you are going through this. I recently had a early miscarriage myself. I started off the same way as you did except I had no cramping. My doctor also told me that I was threatening a miscarriage. I was not put on bedrest though. I did not get an answer about if my cervix was opened or closed. I was too distraught to ask questions. However, there are plenty of women whose doctors tell them that they are threatening a miscarriage, and they go on to have healthy babies, with bleeding throughout the pregnancy. My advice is to just keep going to the doctor and following their instructions. I hope that all is well. Also, what kind of dr. are you seeing?

I'm so sorry. I would make an app with your dr and ask for a u/s. My dr told me your levels have to be at least over a thousand to see the baby and if yours were 3000 it can't hurt. Don't get discouraged if you don't see the baby. I always experience bleeding and cramping with my pgs...actually with this one I began hemorageing at 12 wks and was on bed rest for 6 wks etc. I don't want to give you false hope but I wouldn't throw in the towle yet. I'm a firm believer in thinking positive and hoping for the best! Was this another dr in the practice? I'm confused if this is your dr not giving you any info you may want to find another one. Hang in there. I'm here if you need to talk.....
