recurrent miscarriages.

Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone would mind sharing their success stories. I have had 2 miscarriages in a row, one at 12 weeks and the other at 6.5 weeks. I currently don't have any children and me and my boyfriend are desperate to start our own little family. I have recently had lots of blood test done which all came back normal and the doctor said he couldn't see any reason why I miscarried. We are currently trying to convince again but I am so scared and can't understand if they can't find anything wrong why i miscarried twice in a row.  I have hear taking as prob can help so might start taking it when I fall pregnant!
Has this happened to anyone else? Has it been 3rd time lucky?
Would love to hear some stories to give me some hope.
Thank you xx

A friend of mine had 14 ( yes 14) miscarriages in a row. Her children are about 11 or 12 years apart. She has an older son and a new baby!! Another friend of mine had several miscarriages between 8 and 12 before her and her husband almost gave up. They tried one more time with invitro and were successful. They have tried again several times since ( her son is about 2) with no luck. Dont give up hope!!!

My SIL had 4 miscarriages. Her and my brother were both tested for anything that could be causing it. There was no medical reason they could find. The Dr. said sometimes it just happens and is way more common than people think. They ended up having a little girl almost 2 years ago and are due with their 2nd baby in October (I'm due a month before them). THERE IS HOPE!!!! Definitely keep trying!!

I've only had one at 9wks (stopped growing round 7 wks) after 2 healthy pregnancies, but I was very deficient in a lot of vitamins (and sleep) at the time. Low iron, very low Vit D (related to miscarriage), low B's.  Got my body back on track and this pregnancy I'm up to 36 weeks :) Have you checked vitamin D levels?
Also know plenty of people who have had one or 2 miscarriages due to unknown reasons, so maybe you were just unlucky to get two of those in a row, whereas more people get them spread out in between pregnancies? Hope things get better for you soon :)

I had 2 missed miscarriages in a row, and was 3rd time lucky.  I was tested for blood clotting, progesterone and some other basic tests, such as finding out my blood type. If your RH Negative, then you would need an injection, just Google RH Negative blood type in pregnancy. Although I don't have a blood clotting disorder, I was given 81mg baby aspirin and progrestrone to safeguard my pregnancy, even though I didn't need too, but it just to safeguard he pregnancy, talk to he doctor about doing this. Wish u luck with a 3rd pregnancy. I was 3rd time lucky. X
