recurrent miscarriages

I am 30 years old. I have had 3 live births. I have had a total of 6 miscarriages, 5 in the last year and a half. I've had blood tests done and they say they can't find anything wrong with me. It doesn't make sense because I have had children. My children do not live with me and I would like to have another. It makes me so sad that sometimes I think I just can't take looking at pregnant women or little kids for that matter. What in the world is wrong with me??!!!!

I haven't been on this forum in awhile.  Came over and this post really caught my attention.

I am so sorry for all the losses.  I too had 5 in about a 2 year time frame.  All first trimester.  I too went through lots of testing...I can't imagine there being anything left they hadn't done to me.  No reason was ever really found.  Speculation, but no diagnoses. It was a very difficult and dark time in my life as I am sure it has been for all of you.

I had just experienced my 5th loss and found myself immeidiately pregnant again.  I had always waited a cycle in between, and we did not intend to conceive right away, it just happened. To be honest, I had pretty much had it, and had basically resigned myself to the fact that I would never be a mom.  I almost fell over when I found out I was pregnant again.  I almost immiately started spotting, and was even outright bleeding for for a bit.  I knew I had lost this one too.  To my surprise our first u/s showed a healthy heartbeat.  So did every subsequent ultrasound, and in January of this year I finally gave birth to a perfect, healthy baby boy!!

They never had figured out why I kept miscarrying.  But I wanted to share this with you ladies to let you know that even for those of us unlucky enough to have had this experience do have hope!!  I know more then one women who has experienced this, and had the same outcome as I.  Happy endings do happen, and as my OB told me, as long as you keep conceiving, this is hope!!

I know how hard this is.  Stay strong, and stay focused on that goal.  If I can do it, so can you!!!!

I do not have any children but have had 4 miscarriages.  They are running all kinds of test on me again...and it's very hard for me to go to work (I have 4 infants every day)  I look at the parents who bring their kids in at 6 am and don't pick them up until 6 pm and they don't even have a job!  I'm sorry you are having to go through this...have you thought about seeking a second opinion?

queenspade- I hope everything works out for you.  I'll be thinking about you keep us posted.

i have been pregnant three times, 1 miscarriage, 1 live birth where my son died 22 minutes later and one still birth and doctors haven't been able to figure out a thing. i have no living children and want another baby so bad but it just isn't happening. i hope we can find answers to solve this horrible problem.

I wish I had an answer to you question but I know your pain all too well.  I have 3 children & have lost 2 in the past 2 years.  Both losses were at 18 weeks pregnant.  I just found out that I am pregnant again & hoping for the best.  My dr's have yet to find any reason for my losses either.
