sex after a d&c

Ok so I just had a d&c last week. And after a couple days to a week I stopped bleeding. Once it stopped I started having sex.   I just wanted to know if being pregnant is likely bcuz all of it was unprotected, or is it still to early to get prego?

I want to get prego again but untill my doctor says it is ok to do so, I couldnt go thru another miscarriage so soon.   Thanks for the comment. Condoms it is.

Jenkaye is correct.  Typically ovulation will be 2 - 4 weeks later, however everybody is different and every circumstance is different.  So yes, you certainly could find yourself pregnant again.  I got pregnant immediately following a miscarriage once.  You may find your cycles a bit irregular for a while, so if you truly want to avoid a pregnancy right now, I would use a non hormonal form of birth control, such as condoms.  I say non hormonal as if you go on bc pills, etc. it can take awhile once you stop for you to become pregnant again.  Good luck to you.

Well, from my research, you probably won't ovulate for 2-4 weeks after your d&c, possibly later.  So if  you don't want to get pregnant right away, you should use protection.  Good luck!
