Thanks:) I have strated my vitamins and have made an appointment with a dermatalogist as well. I will let you know if they can find a way to stop the hair loss. Good luck with your pregnancy:)
Hi Lily,
I had a m/c in October and also think I am loosing hair! I usually notice it after I shower and I feel like tons of hair comes out when I brush it. I have a 2 year old son and lost more hair than normal after he was born. I think its our hormones that are drastically changing. I am now pregnant again and still feel like I loose too much hair, but hope it will end soon. You are actually not supposed to loose much hair when you are pregnant.
Keep taking your prenatal vitamens and eat healthy (vitaments b6 and b12 are good). Good luck!
Thanks for your response mikaleen. I am going to strat taking my vitamins more regularly. this whole situation has made me sooo frustrated. I am going through an emotional roller coaster and now this hair loss thing is a problem added to other. I hope that we both have a good news soon.
I also read that hair loss is common in women with pcos. If you don't have that it's not your problem, obviously.
I'm sorry about your loss. I myself haven't had the hair loss problem, but I was talking to my mom the other day and after the birth of my brother she had a hair loss problem for months. My aunt is a hairdresser and she told my mother to take b vitamins (my mom couldn't remember which one in particular) that a deficiency after pregnancy (with a live birth OR a m/c) can cause hair loss. That may not be your case but if it is, it's an easy fix. Good luck!
