worried miscarriage history doomed to repeat

Hi there, in Dec 2011 I was pregnant. It was a weird start though as the first month I missed a period I took many hpt's but they were all negative which isweird because I've never missed a period before (very regular 28 day cycle then) and the next month when I didn't get my period againand still got a neg hot I made a doc appt. But right before it I took another hpt, it was a faded positive but there it was right before I metthe doc.
. Then I carried on quite happily for a few weeks, until I started spotting and then bleeding. And that was me had a natural miscarraige. Gutted.

After that I did not get a period for 6 months, my doc kept telling me to wait a year before o got worried. But I got it. Though its quite irregular now my past few cycles have been 31 days, 21, 36,31 and right now am on day 35 with no period. Its making mereal ervous a repeat will happen.

Anyone have any ideas?!? Am so worried... Not fair everyone around me is having babies on accident!
I do have another appointment with my doc on Monday, but honestly I do not feel like mu docs care about getting me answers. I understand they are busy. But I am a patient that is worrying herself stupid the least the could do is test sone things or send me to hosiptal.

But anyway... I would really appreciate anyone advice or anything!

Dear Lostsocks

I have experienced 2 miscarriages and I know how heart breaking this is, but am going to give you some good advice that you really should follow.

First, please do try to remain as calm as possible as stress does seriously mess up your cycles. It's normal for miscarriages irregular after a miscarriage for up to a year, but the main thing is ur having periods. One month I was seriously stressed and I came on 10 days later, so from that I then knew how much getting stressed out does effect your cycle, it's true it really does effect your periods in a big way.

2.Take Evening Primrose oil, this balances the hormones out, get the high strenght evening primrose oil. Please STOP taking this if you fall pregnant.

3. Take a pre conception pregancy tablet and folic acid tablets as soon as possible. This will prepare your body for ur next pregnancy making sure ur body is in good health.

4. A healthy diet is also very important for hormone balance and good general health, home made  veg soup and meat such as chicken is very good, and obviously fruits. This is all good, helps with hormone balance, if there not balanced then periods are effected. Good hormone balanced means will help make ur period regular, pls avoid fried foods, junk food, fizzy drinks and limit Caffine and tin foods as much as possible.

5.Stress is the worst for hormone inbalance, so pls do try ur best to be relaxed as possible.

6.Light to moderate exercise helps with hormone balance and good blood flow throughout the body so I highly recommend exercise and a healthy diet as well as the info mentioned above.

7. There is also a tablets called Fertilaid. Please refer to link below:
http://www.fertilaid.com/formula.asp

I know ur going through a hard time but try and relax urself and just focus on getting fit and healthy as well as going out with friends and doing something that makes u feel good.

Then when ur ready try again and focus on that goal of doing all you can to make those changes mentioned above, this will make u feel confident when you try again knowing all the things u have done to create a better environment for ur baby when u fall pregnant.

However make sure u focus on other things too, don't keep thinking about ur periods it will drive u insane and the stress will only cause a massive delay in ur period arriving so it's not helping the situation.

It's easier said than done, but ur a strong women and u will get through this, believe in urself and make the changes and just try and Relax, as we all know getting too stress will only cause more upset for you and ur body and u have been through enough already so be kind to urself.

Love Rachel xxx

Take a pregnancy test.  Unfortunately pms can mimic pregnancy symptoms.  Use first morning urine.  If its negative i would make an appointment.  Something must be going on based on the change in your cycle.  Good luck to you.
