Clarify test results

Can you please clarify the following regarding diagnosis of ms.  One band was seen in CSF that was not in the serum.
MRI rersult: There is slight irregularity of the upper aspect of the right head of caudate at its junction with the body.  This does produce significant signal change and I THINK this relates to the development of the anterior aspect of the right frontal horn rather than it being a 'real' lesion. The word 'think' concerns me.????  Four different general practioners have told me I have ms symptoms, but I can't seem to get a definate diagnosis.

is there an accepted number of O-bands that can help to substantiate a diagnosis of MS?  We hear conflicting numbers, depending on the clinic.

Blood bands andcerebrospinal fluid bands- I saw a picture where it showed bands in CSF but not in blood, and a picture next to it that showed bands in blood AND the CSF, and said that the bands in both was Lyme or an infection, and the bands in just the CSF was MS.
Do you have any thoughts on this? I don't know that my blood was ever tested for bands. My CSF had bands. What is the name of the test to look for the blood bands?

The LP is considered normal -- one band does not make the diagnosis of MS.

The MRI does not sound like MS (but obviously I can't see it).

"Think" simply means that we can never be sure of anything.
