Congratulations on your healthy pregnancy! And, also, on finding a good doctor you can work with. :)

Congrats on your pregnancy, and on finding a good doc willing to work with you!!
I hope the remainder of your pregnancy and delivery are easy on you!!
Best,

The nice thing about this going into clinical trials is the drug is already FDA approved - it doesn't have to go through those tests before the phase studies can begin. I hope it starts soon and that the results are promising.
We really need an affordable treatment.
The only thing that bothered me about the press release though is it was obviously written by someone who is not well versed in MS. I flinch everytime I read one of these and there is always a reference to MS causing death. This one also lists blindness as a problem. I would much rather see these release talk about the symptoms that 95% of us suffer with - those are bad enough. Ok, enough of my stand on the soap box.
be well,
Lulu
Golly, that's so close to where I live! I have a wonderful neuro, right now, but he's in his mid 70s and I'll probably head toward Stanford when he retires.
Mine's one of those old-school guys who wasn't afraid to diagnose someone over 50, and based his diagnosis on a careful, complete history and neurologic physical. I have a bunch of old lesions on my brain MRI, and, even though most of my symptoms and neurologic findings indicate spinal problems, the C-Spine and T-Spine MRIs are clean.
Good luck, and cheers,

Thanks for sharing. Wouldn't it be wonderful if this inexpensive drug with few side effects works? And even reverses damage?
I think I want to be a lab rat on this one. Where do I sign up?
