My colleague and I took about 20 of our students to see the musical, "Grease" last night. We had a really good time.
I have been pretty sore the past few days. ( I have had pain issues off an on for the past 2-3 weeks) I am supposed to start a steroid treatment soon, which I am hoping will help. I'm going to try to get into some physical therapy too.
Have a good week everyone!
Today was nice after yesterdays tornado. many had trees crash on homes and many still without power. so I'm thankful no damage at my apt. last weeks water main break flooded my apt. but that's nothing to what others had yesterday. a window did blow out at work. glad I work in the basement.
maybe I'll call my neuro and see if he wants me to come in. probably won't.
so hopefully it will be a normal work week.

great week so far - nothing medical on the calendar for me and I hope to keep it that way. DH went to PCP for his serious cough that has lingered for 3+ weeks (he's a stubborn man) and its bronchitis. It better clear before we have to travel to Texas next week.
The weather was beautiful today - 48 degrees, sunny and blue skies. It was a nice hint of spring coming soon.
hugs to all, Lu
Thursday - Starting Gilenya. No more injectioins.

This week I have school on Thursday. I will be finishing up wedding shopping for my daughters wedding next Saturday. No upcoming appointments this week as of yet, think I am getting a sinus infection (ugghh it always happens this time of year) so may be going to the doctor for that.
Other than that no big plans for the week. Will be glad to finish shopping for the wedding, next week it will be putting all the final touches but until then I am going to relax and take it easy.

I have to call my PCP, Cardiologist and MS Neurologist for appointments, labs and medical clearance for R ankle achilles surgery .
Surgery will be sometime in early April
Johnniebear...
Hey y'all -
This week I return to physical therapy, 3 times a week. My pcp told me today that this is not going to get me walking again, but it will help with the muscle spasms in my legs.
Still trying to get my medical records from Ohio. I don't understand why this is such a difficult task. They will send them to my pcp, but not me. They tell me I have to come in in person.
Tomorrow morning my grandson will be making his entrance into the world!! Gosh, I wish I could be there for his birth.
Back still spasming, but not as bad as Tuesday. I take muscle relaxers, but it doesn't help completely. Can't imagine what it would be without them.
Ren - Congratulation!! You have every right to be proud! Enjoy your trip to DC. :)
Candy - good luck with your MRI results. And please take care of that cold!
Shell - I hope your new doc gives you want you need!
G-girl - good luck with your performance! You go, girl!
Have a great week, everyone,
Addi

Can you believe that spring is here almost..??? I do hope that the flowers will be up soon.
I will keep you posted on my follow up after my MRI last Sat. ..... but, for some reason I 'm not expecting that he will have the report. Willl have to wait and see.
Still got this terrible cold, and am fighting, but can't take alot of the med's for a cold, because of the med's I'm on for the MS......... so, we hope that it isn't turning into something awful.....
Hope you have a good week guys,
Enjoy the sun,
Candy
Awesome, G-girl! Play on!
But man oh man, your busy. Question for you, is hitting the wall the same as hitting the rack, you know, the hay?
For me, I actually scheduled a new appt. today w/a new doc. I made one to see neurosurgeon to get a look-see at my neck, brain, shoulder, arm, back, attitude, lack of enthusiasm, motivation, memory issues, haha and on and on...lol
Seriously, made an appt. to get c-spine issues looked at. What the heck, maybe he'll offer some relief.
Who else?
Worked, yesterday. Today, it's a haircut, and putting together a set list for a fingerstyle Round-Robin performance (yes, you read that right!) on the 20th.
Yoga, practice, napping, babysitting, more work Friday and Saturday.
I've been hitting the wall at about 3pm lately. I don't think well, don't move well, crazy lassitude...so now I'm napping. Gives me just enough energy to cook dinner and hang out with the DH and cats before bedtime.
Have a good week, everybody!
p.s. For those new members just joining - this is our weekly round up. We make a small attempt to catch up over a cup of joe, or bowl of ice cream on the weeks happenings. So, say hello here if you've not done so already!
