The most important anniversary that got me to this point, however, is my one-year anniversay joining MedHelp. I was fumbling around the net looking for answers to what happened to me May 15th of last year when I found this wonderful, caring, supportive, amazing group of people on the MS Forum.
You all helped me so much and I am absolutely positive that I wouldn't be where I am now, with a diagnosis and on a DMD one year later, if it weren't for you all. Who would have ever imagined that people we may never get the opportunity to meet in person can be to integral to our life.
So, one year later I want to thank each and every one of you for your kindness and hope that I can in some way pay it back by helping others who find themselves needing that same kindness.
Thank you so much for sharing that. For all of us that spend our time here your story means the world! I have to say that you have been a wonderful friend to this forum from the get-go. You always share your experiences, are incredibly supportive and all of us count you as a fiend.
You know that this kind of outcome is what I always dream of.
Julie,
You were the second person to welcome me to this community when I began this journey in August. I will never forget your kindness then and how you continue to show it now. Your compassion toward all of us shines through all the time.
Already a month on copaxone? It doesn't seem possible.
You have been a special friend to all on this forum and glad that you joined us a year ago and have had help to get your answers... glad you here and will be here for all
No one believes me when I tell them about all the things I learn from you guys and that we have never even met each other. Everyone should be so fortunate to find a group where they can not only learn important information about their disease, but also to develop friendships of trust and respect with people who literally live all around the world.
We are a fortuante group, not fortunate to be dealing with MS or a possible MS diagnosis, but fortunate nevertheless.
Have a great day ladies and thanks for you thoughtful remarks.
How wonderful & giving you are of yourself. It means so much to me when you take the time to send me a note or reply to some thing I wrote. I hope you know that you and the gift of your friendship mean so much to me.
But Remember, I am always here for you too. Friendship is a two way street.
Take care feel better soon, You are always in my Prayers, thoughts and Heart

I have to second all that's been said to you above. I'll second what you've said, too. This is a great place, with great people. Praying for all y'all.
You know that this kind of outcome is what I always dream of.
Thank you, right back!

I was trying to remember who the first person was who welcomed me to the forum. I am pretty sure it was Sunny. But the second person I know for sure and that was Shell. I don't know if you all remember your first welcome or second (except Lu who said I was her 3nd :)), but it is nice to know what a difference that welcome makes when we see a new person come one.
