An Update
Well I'm in Maine again for the summer. So far the warmest it has gotten is 65 degrees which sure beats the 90's down in TN. The trip up here was a complete nightmare though. First after weeks of fighting with the VA to get my insulin before I left I ended up forgetting to take it out of the fridge to bring it with me. Luckily I was only around 5 miles form home when I did remember. But I was more than 4 hours from home before I remembered I forgot to bring any jackets. No going back for them, but I should have anyway since no one store up here has any jackets.
It started raining when I was around Knoxville and rained constantly for the rest of the trip, plus a few days after I did get here. So far no rain today which is the first day since I arrived. I don't really mind driving in the rain except if it is a downpour, which most of the time it was. Also just outside of Hartford warning lights came on indication that my traction control had gone out. Still need to get that fixed which is a 1.5 hour drive to the nearest dealer.
Finally got here last Monday morning (7AM) and discovered that somehow I had no key to unlock any of the doors to my home. Luckily my neighbor was able to kick in the basement door so that I could get inside. But now I have to replace all of the locks to my house ($120).
Once I got some sleep ( I had been up and driving for over 24 hours), I discovered that I had also left behind the modem for my internet and the remote for my Dish TV service. It cost me $200 to get a new modem and $20 for the remote.
Oh the snow plows took out my mailbox over the winter also I need to replace that was well. My Keurig coffee maker died, My laptop won't boot up.
But despite all of these problems I still happy to be back up in Maine with the cooler weather.

Sounds like paradise lost! Enjoy the summer in Maine and it is so good to see you here. I haven't been here in a long, long time and it feels like coming home with your familiar post.
