Any genetic connection between MS and Motor Neuron Disease

Hi,

I am not diagnosed - but have some weird symptoms that have come and gone over 11 years.  I have just found out my two of my Dad's cousins have forms of Motor Neuron Disease. Just wondering if there's a genetic link between MND and MS? If so, would a diagnosis of MS for myself be more likely because of these relatives?

I am not aware of any genetic link, there is more regarding genetics and auto-immune diseases in general but nothing comes to mind specifically about motor neuron and MS.
