Hellol Ray;
This is a common unfortunate symptom.. It is like stumbling over your own tongue.
Like a teenager who is trying to speak to someone of the opposite sex, or like Daffy Duck or Porkey pig.
I sometimes take a pause, and sutter out my word  (at other times I do not remember).  this drives my kids crazy.   I just live with it and sometimes write things down.

This comes and goes,depending wher the lessions are twinkling.

I hope this helps.

Hi Ray

Ditto .     I also have trouble remembering all sorts of things , saying things out of context and just odd things like Deb.

I would really like to take some classes or join a group but in the last class it happened,  the out of context kind . Thankfully it was an art class and since I do know my way around a studio , maybe they thought of me as just eccentric/ a character , but boy was I embarrassed.

M. I feel for you and all the others who have to deal with this in the work place .

Hi, Lady!  Sorry to rob you of your Girlie Goodies.  It was late at night and I just assumed you were male.

Word recall problems??  BIG-TIME!!!!  I would venture to guess that it is the most common of the Cog Fog (cognitive difficulties) people complain of here.  I even amde my neuro laugh (he isn't the jovial type) when I commented that , "It is hard to watch yourself become 'verbally stupid.'"  I always prided myself on having a wide vocabulary, but, not only to I fail to find the right word, sometimes the most bizarre substitute comes out instead.  Like saying "box" when I mean "hat."

It happens ALL THE TIME!!!  And I get so embarrassed. Sometimes I throw the wrong word out, or mispronounce it (my tongue gets lazy or my jaw will lock up half way through the word). For the most part I brush it off....but it gets old.
