Appointment on Monday

Appointment on Monday

Hi,

I got a phone call from my neurologist,, and i've been WAITING  to hear from my last MRI,, I kept thinking that i'd just call but didn't ,, I just thought no news--good news.

well I got a call to remind me of my appointment which is on Monday and that there were changes on my MRI and that my doc would discuss this with me at that time.

the dizziness is really bad,, today at work it was just AWFUL!!!   I felt nauseated, feel like the room is spinning.  A friend fellow-nurse washed out my ears,,,,,,(i asked her to) well BAD IDEA,,, I dont recommend it. unless of coarse you have a ton of wax,, which I didn't just thought MAYBE it would help.. well it didn't. lol

I had really bad vertigo last year.  It took about four months for it to go away...  I sympathize completely!

My doctor recommended antihistamines, so try that and see if it does any good.  Never did with me.

I had virtigo really bad shortly after the onset of symptoms in 2006!  It was bad, walked like I was staggering drunk.  I think I had something called visual virtigo, because it was related to the cut in my vision field from the visual field defect I have.

It lasted for about two months at it's worst and then slowly went away in about six months total.  Mine felt like I was still but the world was moving around me constantly!!!!!!!  I didn't get sick to my stomach but was very unsteady and inbalanced especaially in my gait!!

I think this will eventually improve for you too, so just hang in there!!  I know you are worried about the changes on the MRI,  Try to not worry too much until you know what you are dealing with!!

I am due a new MRI now, and I am a bit nervous myself, especially because all of the other follow up ones have showed no change, and now I have had a strange burning across one of my feet, so I am worried , and I know how you are feeling!!

I will be watching for your update on this, and hoping you start to feel better soon!!!!
