IMPRESSION:
1. Multiple punctate gliosis bifrontal lobes. Differential diagnosis includes
but not limited to migraine headaches, collagen vascular/autoimmune disease
versus multiple sclerosis. Reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome to be
considered.

2. No acute intracranial disease process.

MRI was done because I had numbness of face to forehead... I was afraid it was a stroke but I was also under a lot of stress at work and family... I did tell my doctor that lately I had too been getting a lot of head aches so she wanted to rule out a brain tumor. I do note that when I get stressed out that numbness comes back...

No, this does not sound like MS. 'Punctate' lesions are tiny, pinpoint size, and are not generally counted for MS purposes as MS lesions tend to be larger. Tiny lesions more often come from migraines or even  smoking.

What does the Impressions section of the report say? Why did you have the MRI?
