Athlete's Foot?

Athlete's Foot?

I have what feels like athlete's foot. It's a mildly painful sensation under my toes, in the area between the 'toe pad' and where the toe connects to the foot. When I look at the area there doesn't appear to be anything there. It's soft and smooth. I've had real athlete's foot before and there was always some visual indication. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks,
Kyle

HI Kyle,

Sorry about your foot sensations, I have it also .Mine currently is under my great toe and itches like nobody's business. It's a little hard to scratch this in general public.

My toe and other foot sensations come and go for the most part. However, my itching where you describe comes on when I'm tired or sick and stays long  after I'm rested.

Hello.
I understand.  Itching can be really annoying when you really can't do anything about it.  And although I can say even scratching gave much relief
I have the same sensations in my feet from time to time.  I notice the itching also when I'm tired and have tried itching it in public by scrunching and unscrunching my toes in my shoes.  I do not have the itching too often, mostly its more of a vibration sensation.

Me, too!  I have had some terrible athlete's foot in the past, so I put medicine between my toes as a preventative, so it's concerning when I think it's coming on.  Absolutely nothing there, just the crazy weirdo toes.

For me there is no itching. It's a relatively painful burning sensation. I bought an athlete's foot remedy but when I went to use it there was nothing to use it on :-) In another recent thread people are describing the same burning sensation I experience.
