Avonex and Hair loss

My hair has not fallen out but I am just wondering what kind of effect DMD's have on hair and skin.

Anyone know?

Hi, LA.  As far as I know, the effect is zilch! Don't worry about this, really. Hope you are feeling well overall and do not have flu, either real or DMD-produced. Life gets better, believe me!

I am doing a lot better this weekend!!

I had a VERY difficult time giving myself the injection this week.  I was hoping it would get eaiser.  

Maybe it will now that I know I will not get so sick I can not function.  

I think as the weather warms up and we can all get out I will feel even better. At least the warm air helps with my attitude!!

My hair is finally in great shape after years of abuse!  I was hoping to keep it that way as long as possible.  

I do have a few gray hairs coming in. But I am about 2 weeks away from being 45. So a FEW gray hairs are not that many!!

Hey, gal, I got my first gray hairs at 16!  (Hereditary)  Not a big deal. By my mid-30s it was kind of ugly, so that's when I headed for drugstore solutions. May all of life's problems be this simple to solve!  Happy spring.

My moms oldest brother was totally gray by the time he was 20.

I am very tempted to go blonde!!  I have had highlights in the past and that is what damaged my hair.  But I am tempted to do it again.

My hair is naturally brown, but of course my husband liked the blond better.
