I would really like to know about this as I have been reading a lot about B12 deficiency and MS  that the B12 and Ms dose seen to take a lot of B12 to heal the nerve sheeting damage from MS as I have been taking this B12 by shots and I still see no change from it and my headaches as well as other things are coming back again.

Hi Cowboy.  I happen to have been diagnosed last year with a severe B12 deficiency.  I went on weekly shots of methylcobalamin, a more absorbable form of B12.  I still get the shots twice a month.

The shots helped my memory, my energy improved, and I just in general felt more alert.  Maybe the B12 deficiency wasn't the only thing causing your problems.  How often are you getting shots?  And also, if the shots are the form of B12 called "Cyanacobalamin" then you might want to ask for the form I take.  It could be absorbed easier.

Good Luck

Hi, guy!  Good to have you posting.  It is my understanding that the shots can take several months to really heal the brain lesions.

No matter what has cuased your problems, you need to get and maintain your levels of B12.  If after several months there is no improvement, then further investigation is needed as to why you have the problems you have.

Did your doctors look at your MRIs for something called Chiari Malformation?  It can cause severe continuous headaches.  Sometimes (not often) the radiologist fails to look at that part of the image.
