Balance---which way do you fall?

I am curious about this.   I have to be careful when I need to back up because I easily lose my balance.  I do have problems with falling forward when I catch my toe. Foot drop?

If I start to fall I am GONE.  I can not longer regain my balance like I used to.

Just curious.

When I walk, (with my cane) I tend to drift towards the right. Which way do I fall? Any way, but I guess for me, more forwards.

when i fall because of balance it is usually forward or sideways. I did fall flat on my back last week but I slipped on ice so I think that is different.

Yes, left, right, backwards......I know, it was a weird question!

I tend to head off to the right too.  I don't know if it matters but that is the side I have ON.

Which way do I fall?  You mean like left or right?

I used to have a steering problem - every time I went straight, I'd head off to the right.  Now my balance is off, but it doesn't seem to be in a consistent direction.
