Beginning this new week - what's up?

I figured this is a good time to start this week's roll call of events by kicking it off on Shelly's birthday.... Happy birthday, Shell. Here's to many, many more.

For everyone  else, what's going on this week?  This is our weekly preview of all the fun stuff happening.

For me, I have a long day Tuesday - starting with PT here in town, driving to Columbus for Tysabri infusion, MS nurse check up to review my latest MRIs, and then an appt. with the Sleep Doctor before heading home.  With the cost of gas, I try to schedule as much as I can on one day, but I know it will wipe me out.

What do you have going on this week?

I'm working all week. Fri I have a follow-up doctor's appt for my hip(s).

I have my capsule camera endoscopy scheduled for next week.  I hope it goes OK.  When they did my double scopes, they didn't knock me out for them, so I remembered everything (maybe they didn't give me enough stuff, but they kept saying they weren't going to knock me out - just make sure that I'm comfortable. And now they're saying I just go in and swallow this camera with nothing before hand. Ugghh.

I'm glad for those who are having a good week. And for those who aren't, I'm thinking of you, and sending you good thoughts.

Have appointment at the VA GU clinic tomorrow. Not sure if it will be just to talk to a doctor or they will actually perform Urodynamic testing then. I'm also not sure if I will actually be able to make the trip right now as I am still sleeping at least 18 hours every day.

Happy Birthday Shell....
Nothing going on here, its turning cool and starting shutdown, crops all in except digging potatoes last week, will be gone in 3 weeks, so far no bad side effects from this month's infusion, crossing fingers, internet has been down due to storm over week-end, so in town getting groceries and catching up at golden arches for news.

Everyone have a good week

Noting much planned for this week.  It's been a very busy summer, but it looks like things may stay pretty quiet for a couple of months!

I fly to Calgary early tomorrow morning to visit my uncle.  He is dying and it will be the last time I see him.  I am heartbroken.

Work, work, work, and more work!  I have a co-worker going out for hip surgery, so I'm covering for her, as well as babysitting.  DD got a great new job, teaching full time at National Holistic Institute.  I'm still babysitting on Fridays.

I'm sorry I've been so scarce, around here!  By the time I get home from work (after getting up at 4:30 am), I'm too fried to get on the computer for even 10 minutes. I'm not managing my fatigue well, and I haven't been stretching enough, either.  Spasm hell!

Happy Birthday, Shell!
Have a great week, everybody!

Happy B day Shelley.

Spent the week end in New Bern volunteering with The MS ride. It was great. My husband rode 130 miles. I helped for two days. No one really noticed I was sick which was great. I felt good and it was great to get away. My red blood cells are still low but my white blood cells are normal. I rested when I needed. With all the bandanas everyone was wearing no one even knew I had hair loss. It was nice to just seem normal for a week end.

My neuro wants me to come in to discuss my MRI findings. My dx hinges on what he found. If it were clean, as he says, he would call and tell me...so, this suggests he found something. I am dreading going in. I wanted answers but now I kind of don't want answers.
Other than that, I have a pretty uneventful week, besides that fact that I am currently winning in my fantasy football league.

If she keeps the appointment, I'm seeing my PCP on Friday.  I think we've been playing tag since November, and we have a lot of catching up to do.  I think it's been four appointments that she has had to cancel.  Will also get a flu shot.
