Bladder Help

I struggle with frequent UTIs. A nurse friend suggested I take vitamin C. She said that it would help more than cranberry juice. The vitamin C makes the urine more acidic. I started taking daily gummy vitamin C supplements and my situation has improved greatly. I don't wake up frequently during the night to "go" anymore and I couldn't be happier about it!

I just thought maybe someone out there could benefit from this too :)

I just did a quick check on the Vit C - one thing is does is boost our immune system, which is the last thing we need since we already have an over active immune system.  Vit C can also interfere with absorbing other vitamins, B12 in particular.   You might not want to take the big dose for long without talking to your doctor.

those are great tips - you just have to be sure you don't get too much Vit C, which can stimulate the immune system, if I remember correctly.  I'm glad your UTIs have improved.
