Hi PM, the bladder problems can be just about anything - urgency, hesitancy, retention, overactive .... and often we don't have just one of these, but multiple problems at a time.

The bladder and urethrera receive their instructions to contract and relax via a complex network that is often compromised by MS.  Quix has written some very good information about this in the health pages.

If you feel comfortable, please share what's going on and what questions you have.

be well,
Lulu

DISCLAIMER for the article that Lulu just posted:

There's some good humour in it, which might be a bit dangerous for those of us who have some bladder issues when we laugh!!! So if you can't control your bladder while giggling a bit, do what you need to do to protect your desk chair :)

That said...thanks for putting some random jokes into an article about incontinence. It's not something that I get to laugh about very often.
