On one of the thread someone asked about the difference in appearance in MS lesions from ministrokes, high blood pressurePressure ulcer and MS. Would you be able to ask around and enlighten us on the topic? I know that many thing can cause white matter disease, but that the distribution, size, characteristics of the lesions can vary. We've talked about the classic MS lesion as being, ovoid, clearly demarcated, homogeneous in signal intensity, perpendicular to the ventriclesUltrasound, normal fetus - ventricles of brain Ultrasound, normal fetus- ventricles of brain, but at some point, before they reach the perfectPerfect choice appearance, I'm sure they can look less classic and as they break down I'm sure they look different.
a couple of our memebers are being tossed from specialist to specialist claiming lesions are from strokes/MS/history of well-controlled BP/migraine disease/ etc. Anything you can add would be WONDERFUL!
