CONT MUSCLE WEAKNESS DISCUSSION

Hi everyone!
How are ya?
Okay, question.  This muscle weakness that you are talking about, does it feel like a shakyness, along with odd sensations, along with not feeling like you can do anything with that limb.  I'm not dxd yet, but seeing another neuro soon.
I have this problem with my left arm and shoulder.  Can't seem to do much with it at times, can function with it but can't count on it.  There is a tremor internally that I have most of the time. It affects the shoulder, and down the arm. It eases up some but never really goes away. My fingers twitch, and I get these sharp pains.  A few months back I started noticing that when I walk, I walk with a limp because my left leg is a mess, but my arm just hangs, like it somehow has no life to it, and it just flops around, not violently, but mildly.  It feels like it doesn't belong there.  When we walk, aren't our arms supposed to swing?
Neither of my arms swing anymore, but my left one just hangs.  I need to prop it up on things when I am sitting in a car, or chair, and there is a definite weakness where I can't use it like I used to. If I stand too long with my arm just hanging everything starts to tingle, pins and needles, then go numb Sometimes , I'll get this horrible shakey (shaky), jelloy, feeling, along with some odd sensations.  Is this what weakness or fatigued muscles feel like?
I noticed, that especially on my left side, that I have no strength to push open a door, or open a can or bottle, or carry even light things, etc etc.
Does anyone else have an arm that does this.  That just kind of hangs there when they stand or walk?  If my left arm was my left leg, it would drag, I wouldn't be able to lift it to walk.  Appreciate any input.  Thanks guys  Sandie

It looks like I my Neuro may beon the track of MS for me after a full year of testing, so here I am.  My left arm feels the same way. I particularly notice it when I drive.  I have not tingling numbness, just the "hanging-out there" feeling you describe.  If you have been diagnosed with MS, I'd appreciate your sharing some of your other symptoms.  Mine, in the order of seriousness, are: fatigue, heaviness in legs, muscle cramping in left calf, difficulty swallowing (although recent thyroid surgery may have taken care of that problem-we'll see; occasional off-balance and mild tripping overtoes.  Thanks, and good luck to you.  (I have posted in several forums over the past two years due to a variety of problems:pacemaker, thryoid growths, neuro. (Bad two years.)
