MS does not usually cause elevated  CPK levels.  CPK levels are elevated in the presence of muscle inflammation and / or muscle disease.  Myositis is an example of a muscle inflammatory disease.  Also, Myasthenia Gravis is another.

MS is a disease of the  Central Nervous System (brain and spinal cord).

Do you have elevated CPK levels?

MS is an autoimune Disease.  The nerves that run through or around muscle can be affected.  I was just told I hav elevated CPK.  The took me off my cholestrol meds and will retest in 4 wks.  But still can have a connection.
