I would recommend yoga before you eat, if you are to eat then wait 2 hours.
If your hungry and want a small snack before yoga have a banana or something light on the stomach that wouldn't cause any indigestion. After you practice I would wait 30 min to eat anything.
The best way you can get that answer is to see how your body reacts - most people need to avoid food in the period just before and after working out, whether it be yoga or other forms of exercise. Good for you wanting to do something like yoga.
